It's location is excellent within the town - easy walking distance to everything including the funiculare. Its proximity to Florence is an advantage. The hospitality provided by the two brothers Lucca and Giacomo was outstanding and deserving of the highest recommendation.

Family run hotel - very friendly and nice. Location excellent (Pisa, Lucca and Florence in 50 km radius). Good value for money. Situated in town center so not very quiet surroundings.
Suggestion to change the blankets and towels - clean but old.

The location is perfect as a hub to visit Tuscany. The staff was probably the most friendly and helpful I have ever seen in a hotel. 5 minutes away from the railway station on foot, makes a Tuscany tour possible without own wheels.

The hotel is family run and the two brothers who manage the hotel are extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and very clean and is the best I've ever stayed in for the price! It is a 5 minute walk from the train station (Montecatini Central) and you can get trains direct to Florence and Lucca. The hotel is also situated in a prime position close to all shops, restaurants, market and the beautiful park and spas. The breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice for everyone. Although if you are expecting a traditional cooked breakfast forget it, and remember what you paid for your stay here! The food and choice was great! I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again, I couldnt fault it.

The two brothers that ran the hotel were just amazing - could not do enough to help us out. Truly genuine staff that care about their guests!!!! Hotel was built in the late 1800's and has a history of its own.

Getting to Florence takes about 20-25 minutes by train. It is very clean and quiet; a good place for shopping. Montecatini Terme is beautiful and clean. This small town has a lot to offer: boutiques, good restaurants and cafes, even some nature. A five minute walk to the train station. Take it.
